California Community Foundation: Improving Awareness and Use of Teacher Workforce Data - Los Angeles

Sabbaticalize serves as the facilitator for the CCF Teacher Workforce Thought-Leaders Cohort – A Cohort of local thought leaders from across education stakeholder groups.

1. Los Angeles region thought-leaders cohort will dive into local TAMO data and identify policy intersection with other important teacher workforce and educational equity issues, such as teacher diversity, teacher recruitment and retention, dual enrollment, and community schools’ implementation. The cohort will identify one to three priority policy strategies for local/state advocacy.

2. Help to develop and facilitate a Los Angeles Regional Educator Workforce Symposium – General convening on TAMO and related Teacher Workforce Thought-Leaders cohort presentations for key education and community stakeholders. Aligned Partnership Activity goal/outcome: Build awareness of TAMO dashboards among key stakeholders and identify solutions to increase quality instruction.

3. Grow LA Region Leaders Education and Awareness of TAMO – CCF will provide key regional policymakers and systems leaders opportunities for education and awareness of TAMO data platforms and emerging local strategies/solutions.
